How to make your conservatory usable all year round
Are you getting the full use of that considerable investment of having a conservatory fitted? Is it too hot in the summer (when we get one here in the UK) and too cold in the winter? With our tips, you could have an all-season conservatory.
Did you know that the positioning of your furniture can have an impact on how it collects and retains heat throughout the day? South and West facing conservatories will heat up during the day and will require additional ventilation on the hotter days to keep the temperatures lower. North and East facing conservatories get a lack of direct sunlight and are vulnerable to cooler temperatures, and would benefit from additional insulation.
Another way to achieve an all-year-round conservatory would be to have an insulated roof with vents to keep heat in when it’s needed and reflect heat when it’s not.
